感謝大家的支持及鎖定，九八八玳瑚頻道。今天的特備節目是，本頻道的年中重頭戲，在農曆七月俗稱的鬼節期間，除了避免被鬼看上，盯上，纏上以外，還有什麼我們可以，或應做的事來確保我們，在這特殊的月裡，生人不用囘避，依然作息安穩，依然出入平安呢?
其实啊!每年的這個月令，對於吾等眾生來講，可以說比起任何節日，來得更好。何出此言?原因乃大多的節日，都是玩樂的。而在玩樂的當兒，我們同樣的也在消耗，過去辛苦所积累的福报。因此，很多很多的人，在很年輕的時候，就債務纏身，身有痼疾，生意失敗，萬事不如意，家不安寧，甚至壽命不長，抱憾終生啊!如果說，生命掌握在自己手裡，那爲何我們不虚心學習，把這句富有戰鬥力的話，映現在我們有限的生命裡呢?利己利她他，光輝而燦爛。
功德王，南無本師釋迦牟尼佛，慈悲傳下报父母恩咒，衹要我們一心虔誠，在整個農曆七月的每一天，浄身浄口浄手浄意，恭唸四十九遍，此佛說报父母恩咒，能报現世父母，及七世父母恩。在這俗稱的鬼節裡，就算妳你眞的碰見鬼，鬼也會禮敬妳你，也會對妳你微笑。但願那時候，妳你還能保有紳士風度，禮上往來的微笑囘敬，而不是暈倒在地上。哈......!

Today’s special programme is our mid-year highlight: In this current month, also known as the “ghost” month, other than to prevent oneself from eyed upon or harassed by the spirits, what else can you do in this special month to ensure your safe passage?
Actually, when this month comes around every year, it is the best season compared to other festivals. Why? Because most of these festivals are just merry-making, and in the process of having fun, we depleted our store of merits accumulated tediously over time. That is why many people, even at a young age, suffer from financial debts, health issues, failed businesses, endless challenges, family disharmony and even a short life of regrets! If you believe that your fate lies in your own hand, why don’t we learn humbly and fully actualise this powerful belief in our own lives, so as to benefit ourselves and others?
King of Merits, Namo Shakyamuni Buddha, compassionately taught us the Mantra to Repay The Kindness of our Parents. As long as we sincerely cleanse our mind, body and speech, and recite the mantra 49 times every day this month, the merits generated shall repay debt of gratitude to our parents of our current life as well as to our parents from our past 7 lifetimes. In this “Ghost” month, even the spirits will give you a respectful bow should you “meet” them. My only hope is that you will maintain your composure to return the courtesy, instead fainting to the ground! Ha ha...
